Team captain perks:
Create a team, recruit at least 5 other teammates and you’ll get your registration fee rebated! Once you’ve got 6 runners on your team, email kelly@teamcre.com for your coupon code. We’ll also have prizes for the captains of the three largest teams.
Chip timing:
The Running of the Leprechauns 5K is a chip-timed event for runners; the chip will be on the back of your race number. The walkers are not timed.
Awards categories:
Best Costume (judged by the race directors) $100 Cash & Medal to Top Male & Top Female Overall. Age group awards Medal for: 12 & under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 60+. Overall awards are based on gun time; age group awards are based on chip time. Biggest Team. Highest Fundraisers. Medal for every child to cross the finish line! Trophies/medals can be claimed at the awards ceremony.

10:00am- Our Party in the streets begins with pre-race warm up & stretch with Medford's ZUMBA Queen Nancy Palladino-come on out and strut your costume!
10:30am SHARP – Running of the Leprechauns 5k run begins with the Boston Celtics Mascot LUCKY running in the pack!
11:30am – St. Patrick's Day after-party at Medford Elks downstairs hall.
Route:
Medford Elks down Washington Street, Right onto Park Street, right onto Riverside Avenue right onto George P. Hassett Drive, left onto Salem St, right onto Forest St, left onto Lawrence Road, left onto Governors Avenue, left onto High Street straight across Medford Square down Riverside Avenue, left onto Park Street, right onto Washington Street cross the finish line in front of Medford Elks.
Number pick-up:
Wednesday March 11, 2014 froom 4-7pm or Friday March 13, 2014 from 10-4pm Cosmopolitan Real Estate Inc. 23 Salem Street, Medford Sq. or day of race from 8-10:15am at Medford Elks 19 Washington Street Medford
Dogs and strollers:
Dogs and strollers are welcome in either event – please start from the back if participating in the run and pass carefully.

It pays to tell your friends!
Races are more fun with friends and we reward our runners for referring others to our events. When you register, you’ll get a “Sharelink” in your confirmation email so that we can track your referrals. We’ll have awesome prizes for the top referrers.
Postponement, Cancellation and Refund Policy:
In the event of inclement weather, the event may be postponed to another date. No refunds will be issued due to conflicts with the postponement date. If RACE must cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control, no refunds will be issued. Please remember, all proceeds go to charity.
Parking: Is available in numerous lots around the corner in Medford Square or at Medford City Hall.
