The Hazelwood Women's 5K is one of the longest-running women-only road races in the country. It is a celebration of women and their participation in running. The GNBTC encourages women and girls of all ages to run or walk in this year's race.

Entry fee:

By April 20th

$17 for GNBTC members (see newsletter for discount code)

$35 for a pair that registers together by mail.

$20 all others

After April 20th: $25

Course: Fast and flat through scenic New Bedford waterfront. Begins and ends at Hazelwood Park. Map

Awards: Top 3 overall in 5K Run and 5K Walk. Top 3 in 5K Run Age Divisions and Mother/Daughter Teams. First Place in Mother/Daughter Team Walk. (Mother/Daughter Teams must provide a unique team name.) Prizes will also be available for participants in the Kids' Run.

Course Record: 17:27 by Stephanie Reilly. Runner who sets new course record will receive $100.
