DAY OF LOGISTICS

The event will take place rain or shine.

-Pre-registration bib pick-up will take place at the Welcome Center at the East Boston YMCA at 215 Bremen Street on Saturday, 10/22 from 10am-2pm.   :

-Shirts are only available for the first 200 registrations, anyone who signed up on 10/18 after 2:20pm will not receive a shirt.

-Day of registration (10/23) as well as pre-registration pick-up will begin at 7:30 am in the Y’s parking lot and will close promptly at 8:45 am.  The parking lot will be closed entirely for the event.  We have secured off street parking at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center at the corner of Bremen and Gove Streets (about a block from the Y), this will be marked with signage as well as black and orange balloons. We do urge you to walk or take public transportation.

-We will begin lining runners up at 8:55 am, with a shotgun start at 9 am!  The course will be clearly marked with Y volunteers, arrows and 2 water stops along the way.  The race will start and end in Bremen Street Park near the YMCA.  There is one loop in Bremen Street Park so please watch for volunteers and markings for this turn.

-There will be no secure place to hold belongings, please keep that in mind when arriving.

-Prizes will be awarded to overall best male and female in each age group:

19-29

30-39

40-49

50-59

60-69

70+

-We will also be awarding a prize for the BEST costume!

- There will be no post-race gathering. We hope you visit some local restaurants like Pazza on Porter or Angela’s Café after for brunch!

- The East Boston Y will have a $1 membership joining fee if anyone joins on October 23rd.
