MARK YOUR CALENDARS... The Freeland Pub run is tentatively rescheduled to Sunday September 6th. 2020. Registration will open as soon as we are confident we can meet the state & CDC guidelines for group size and social distancing.
Pre- Registration:
o Can be completed at all Participating Establishments NOW until Saturday, Sept 5th until 4:00pm
o Pre-registering will guarantee you an official Pub Run Drawstring Backpack!
o Online Pre-Registration can be completed at www.racemenu.com/freeland2020 and the CUT OFF is Saturday Sept 5th at 4:00pm
Cost: $30 per person
Packet Pick-Up:
o If Pre- Registered by Saturday Sept 5th, your Pub Run Packet, Race Number, & T-shirt will be available for pick up at The Other Side on Sunday May 24th from 12:00pm-4:00pm
o They can also be picked up the Day of the Race during Check in Registration.
o Under PLCB Laws, each Registered Runner has to show ID and can only pick up his or her single packet, NO EXCEPTIONS. You must carry ID at all times and you may be carded at each location.
Day of The Race- Sunday Sept 6th.
o Check in Registration is at The Other Side from 11:00am-2:00pm
o The Race promptly begins at 3:00pm
o The Race Starting line will be at the Freeland Chamber Beer Tent, located at the Freeland Public Park where the Memorial Day Celebration will be taking place.
o Prior to the Race Beginning from 12:00pm-4:00pm., the Pepper Shakers will be playing Live for the Pre-Pub Run Kick-off.
o As always, we will send out the first wave of Serious Runners. Every two minutes there-after we will send out groups of Friends, T-shirt Groups, etc. of Fun Runners
o The race will be marked with flour lines and arrows leading the whole race to the finish.
o For the Serious Runners, You must follow the exact course and make each stop where you will have to drink 5 oz of Beer or Soda to advance.
o Our Finish Line will be located at The VFW Post 5010 where refreshments and Free Food will be available to all participants.
Awards:
o ALL Awards will be presented at 5:00pm Outside of the VFW contingent to Weather Conditions. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the awards will take place inside.
o Awards will be as follows: per gender and division
Ø 30 and Under: 1st 2nd 3rd
Ø 31-39: 1st 2nd 3rd
Ø 40-49: 1st 2nd 3rd
Ø 50+: 1st 2nd 3rd
Ø Overall Men’s Top Runner
Ø Overall Women’s Top Runner
