From the Organizer

The CK5K event raises funds to support the Carolyn Keen’10 Memorial Scholarship  that  was  started  in  memory  of Carolyn Keen ‘10 who lost her life in a car accident in her junior year. Carolyn was a member of the Cross Country and Track team so a 5K is a perfect way to celebrate her talents and contributions to the Gwynedd community and keep her memory alive. The scholarship is awarded each year to a rising Junior at Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School who, like Carolyn, has displayed admirable dedication and commitment to her school, and whose family will benefit from the assistance with her tuition.

Registration: $25 (plus $2.66 processing fee) if you register by Sept. 9 and   receive a CK5K T-Shirt!  $30 (plus $2.66 processing fee)  after September 9 and through Race Day., T-Shirts given while supplies last.  Registration opens at 7:30 AM on race day.

The CK5K welcomes runners and walkers of all levels and ages.  This 5K / 1 Mile walk takes place on Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School and adjacent University grounds, consisting of gravel, payment, and track terrain.  The course is stroller friendly.  Professional chip timing is being used this year, and results are available immediately upon crossing the finish line.  Awards are given to the Overall M / F winners, as well as the 1st M / F runners in the following Age Groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & Over.
