From the Organizer
Our inaugural Paddy Coyne's GLOW 5K is a fun, family-friendly, non-competitive event set to take place at dusk on Saturday, March 10, 2018. In addition to regular course markings, the entire course will be lined with fluorescent glow sticks. We encourage everyone to come decked out with glow sticks, flashlights, color lights, and reflective gear, and we require all participants have at least a headlight or flashlight.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

Course
The course is an out and back in the Lake Hills Greenbelt. Starting along 148th Street, participants will around Larsen Lake and continue through the trails out to the turn-around point. The kids race will turn around midway down Larsen Lake. On the map below, the "SP" indicates course where there will be course safety monitors, as according to our safety protocol.
Water Stops
The 5K will have one water station located just before the course crosses Lake Hills Blvd. Runners will pass the water station twice, once on the way out at 1.25 miles and once on the way back just before 2 miles.
Safety Protocol
Because this event takes place in the evening, we will have extra safety precautions in place. The course includes only one street crossing, where a police officer will be present to direct traffic. We will have course safety monitors stationed throughout the course to direct runners and oversee the race in progress. The course will be lined with glow sticks, and all participants are required to have a headlamp or flashlight on them during the run. In addition, we highly recommend a reflective vest, blinking lights and lots of glow sticks!
Parking
There is ample parking near the start line in Kelsey Creek Plaza. Just plus this address into your GPS device and you can't miss the parking lot: 15015 Main Street, Bellevue 98007. Please park in the area nearest to SHOES-n-FEET and along 148th Avenue.
