Run or walk the beautiful paths of “jewel” of the Emerald Necklace to start your Thanksgiving Day!  The scenic 3.1 mile route includes the most beautiful and historic views of Franklin Park. All ages and paces welcome!

Great Prizes for fast finishes and costumes!

This event supports the Franklin Park Coalition’s programs and events: woodlands restoration, youth programs, fitness activities and more year-round. 

Online registration closes Wednesday Nov. 23rd at noon!

You can pick up your number Wednesday at JP Licks, 659 Centre St, Jamaica Plain. from 4 - 7 pm, or on Thursday morning from 8 - 8:45 am.

The Course

We love our route!  Trees, ponds, views - come see why we are Boston's most scenic 5k!  Behold:

Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome.

There will be one water stop on the course.

Parking

Most of the golf clubhouse lot will available for parking, but some sections will be blocked for the start/finish area. Additional parking is available just a few yards away near the Blue Hill Ave. entrance, on the street along Circuit Drive. and the parking lot right across from the club house entrance.

Number Pick-Up and Bib Tags

Number pick up is on Wednesday November 23rd at JP Licks, 659 Centre St. Jamaica Plain from 4 - 7 pm.  You can also register in person.
Numbers can also be picked up race morning inside the golf clubhouse 8- 8: 45 am.  Your early pick up is appreciated to help keep things on schedule.

Restrooms

The golf clubhouse will be open, but be advised that the bathrooms only have a few stalls.  We will have porta potties as well.  Leave plenty of time in case there is a line.  

Bag Check

We will not have bag check, sorry.

Watch your step!

Please be aware that in some locations on the course, the condition of the paving or concrete is poor.  

Awards & Results

We’ll have awards for the male and female overall winners, age group first place winners, and for runners in the best costumes, at approximately 9:50 inside the clubhouse.
