A new Thanksgiving tradition is coming to Wellesley.

The Turkey5 Road Race is the best way to start your holiday season.  With both 5K and 5Mile courses, the Turkey5 offers something for everyone.  Starting and finishing at Linden Square, participants will run through the beautiful Wellesley College campus and the marathon’s famous “Scream Tunnel” section before seeing the “1 mile to go!” sign. We need volunteers! We are seeking volunteers to help with several aspects of the event. Volunteers receive free entry into the Miss Santa Holiday 5K on the Esplanade.

Have a group that wants to volunteer together? GREAT! Indicate that when signing up - feel free to email us for more info. more volunteers welcome - show up early and we'll put you to work

Race day schedule:

6:00am – volunteer check in
6:30am – registration opens
7:30am – registration closes
8:00am – race begins (both 5K & 5M)

Possible volunteer duties include:

- Packet pick-up (on days leading up to the event and/or on race morning)
- Bag check
- Course support
- Water stops 
- Bag check
- Finish line support
- Pitching in wherever it looks necessary!
