EDsnaps offers free year-round STEAM content programs to underserved female-identifying students with the goal to increase diversity in the STEAM workforce. After being unable to access our garden (1 square yard) in the Bronx, we are now preparing for our Vegetable Farming Project 807. This project starts in the Fall of 2021 and continues into the Spring & Summer of 2022. The community center granted EDsnaps twice the garden area so more students and their families can be served. The raised funds will be used for the purchase of different seeds, plants & bulbs, such as lettuce, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, garlic, chives, & onions. Students will grow the produce and then consume.
