The Westport Fishermen’s Association is hosting their 12th Annual 8K Road Race and 5K Family Fun Walk/Run on May 7, 2016.  

Be sure to save the date and join us! Come out and run a beautiful, flat and fast 8K course at Horseneck State Beach with ocean and river views, or walk or run a 5K course for fun. Water stations at miles 2 and 4. 

All proceeds support our efforts to protect & preserve the Westport River and its fish habitat, as well as our scholarship and marine education programs. Visit our website for more  information and current weather conditions. 

Top three male and female 8K runners win cash prizes. All runners eligible for raffle prizes and a post-race feast of The Back Eddy's famous pulled pork. 

Register by May 1st for the early bird fee of $25 and a guaranteed race t-shirt. WFA members receive a $5 discount on the registration fee. Request a coupon code by emailing wfa@westportriver.org.

After May 1st, registration fee is $35. 

Referral promotion:  Use the Sharelink you receive when you sign up to invite friends and family to register by May 1st for either the 8K race or the 5K family fun run and earn rewards. One referral gets you a free WFA glass. Get three or more friends to sign up and your registration fee will be refunded; six or more referrals and you also get free entry next year!
