DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION STARTING AT 8:00PM AT SCHOULER PARK

A PREDICTION RUN
HOW IT WORKS: Winners are the first 5 runners to cross the finish line AFTER MIDNIGHT. Course opens at 9:30pm and runners decide when to start running based on their estimate of how long it will take them to cover the 15K course. (Example: If you think it will take you an hour and 15 minutes to run the course, start at 10:45pm - pace charts and large clock at start can help you decide). To make it fair NO WATCHES OR TIMING DEVICES ALLOWED!!
DATE: Saturday, August 5, 2017 (under an almost full moon)
COURSE: Garmin measured 15K (9.3 miles)
COURSE OPENS: 9:30 PM
FINISH TIME: 12:00 Midnight
START: Schouler Park, North Conway, NH
FINISH: Ham Arena, Conway, NH
(Buses will shuttle runners back to Schouler Park after the race.)
AWARDS: Hand crafted awards to first five runners crossing the finish line after midnight.
GOODIES: All runners registered prior to 7/23/17 guaranteed a performance T-shirt. All finishers will get a commemorative finisher's medal. Post race refreshments will be served.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: As this is a night time race, conducted in the dark, all participants are required to wear reflective clothing and either wear a headlamp or carry a flashlight.
LODGING: White Mountains Hostel is offering a discounted rate of $27/night for participants of the Midnight Owl Run. Register online at www.wmhostel.com, write "Midnight Owl" under "reason for stay" and get discount when you check in.
BENEFICIARY: Net proceeds from this event will support the MWV Skating Club.

In the unlikely event of cancellation, no refunds will be offered.
